OUR CHILDREN OF VICTOR CLASS HAVE BEEN CREATING.
The children in Victor Class have been making caterpillars while learning about their life cycles and developing their fine motor skills. Our children have learnt that the key stages of a butterfly’s life begin in cylindrical egg form before hatching into a caterpillar. They then learnt that caterpillars grow by eating specific types of leaves and shedding their skin during development. Caterpillars grow quickly, developing into pupa through ‘metamorphosis’, a process where it then, progresses into butterfly form. Usually, within three-to-four weeks, the butterfly grows strong enough to fly!
